Dr. Abasin Safi grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. After dental school, Dr. Safi practiced as a general dentist for six years, an experience that gave him a restorative-minded perspective on diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient care.

Dr. Safi went on to complete his specialty training in endodontics at Oregon Health & Science University. As a board-eligible endodontist, he is committed to providing thoughtful, precise endodontic care in a calm and comfortable setting. His background as both a general dentist and endodontic specialist helps him communicate clearly with referring dentists and support predictable, long-term outcomes.

Dr. Safi is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and Northern Virginia Dental Society. He lives in Vienna with his wife and two children. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys traveling, tennis, coffee shops, and fantasy/sci-fi books.
